Tyler Donovan Learn

January 6, 1988 — August 5, 2017

Tyler Donovan Learn, 29, of Saegertown, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017.

He was born January 6, 1988 in Meadville, a son of R. Brian Learn and Tina Weyman Taylor.  He married Laurel Wrigley September 7, 2013 and she survives.

Tyler was a 2006 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School where he excelled as a member of the Bulldog Hockey team and was a part of the 2003 state championship team.

Tyler took extreme pride in working as a co-owner in his family business, Chipsco, Inc.  He also enjoyed physical fitness and body building.  However his greatest accomplishment was his family.  Anyone who knew Tyler knows he was an exceptional father.  On any given day he could be found dancing with his daughter or wrestling with his son.  They were the light of his life and they in turn adored their father.  Tyler was also a loving husband.  There was never a day that went by that he didn’t kiss her and make her feel special.  His presence will be irreplaceable.  He would want all of his family members and friends to know that he spent the last five years as a family man who was genuinely happy.  Home is where his heart was and always will be.

Survivors, in addition his wife Laurel, include a daughter, Mayland Elle Learn at home; a son, Shepard George Learn at home; his father, R. Brian Learn and his wife Amy of Meadville; his mother, Tina Taylor and her husband Brad of Meadville; three brothers, R. Brian Learn, Jr. and his wife Courtney of Meadville and twins Kyle Mitchell Learn of Orlando, FL and Kevin Michael Learn and his wife Paige of Meadville; his paternal grandmother, Connie Learn of Meadville; his maternal grandparents, James and Jacqueline Weyman of Greenville; two nieces, Hallie Grace and Tenley Reese Learn; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, David Learn.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 9th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.
