Verna R. Mossman, 83, a resident at the David Mead Residence Inn since February 1995, died Monday, March 16, 1998 at Meadville Medical Center. She was born in Pittsburgh, March 27, 1914, a daughter of the late Frank and Violet Radovic Dragosavac. She married B. W. 'Bill' Mossman September 21, 1935 and he preceded her in death April 3, 1988. She worked at one time at Talon and Keystone View Co. She was a member of St. Brigid Church and was a graduate of Meadville High School. Survivors include two daughters, Marlyn Rice of Conneaut Lake and Mrs. A. G. (Carol) Deininger of Meadville; a sister, Blanche Poux of Arlington, TX; three brothers, William Dragosavac of Jamestown, NY, Frank Dragosavac of Meadville and Charles Dragosavac of Warren, OH; four grandchildren, Anthony and Philip Rice, Karen Pardee and Amy Sternberg; three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Sam and Elizabeth Rice and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Marshall Dragosavac and two sisters, Violet Morris and Lillian Bainbridge. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
