Vernon R. Moore, 77, of Meadville, died Wednesday, April 23, 1997 at home.
He was born in Fishertown, PA, June 12, 1919, a son of the late Ralph and Adah Claycomb Moore. He married Naomi Yeager May 9, 1943. She survives.
He graduated in 1949 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He was a sales representative for Parke-Davis & Co. for 25 years. He was self-employed businessman/pharmacist for 15 years and most recently had been a pharmacist at Ken's Pharmacy in Cambridge Springs for the past 2 years. He was a veteran of World War II with the US Army and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Mrs. Clyde (Carol) Cressler of Newport, PA, Mrs. Phil (Mary) Federico of Manahawkin, NJ and Mrs. Vince (Jan) Feleppa of Meadville; a son, Tim Moore of Meadville and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
