Victor A. Sexton

Victor A. Sexton, 88, of Meadville, a former FMC Corp. employee, died Wednesday, January 12, 1994, at home following a brief illness.

He was born in Bloomfield Township, May 18, 1905, a son of Hugh and Eva Borland Sexton.  He married Opal Hovis, May 24, 1950.  She preceded him in death June 15, 1992.

He retired in 1970 from the mixing department at FMC Corp. after 24 years of service.  He was a World War II veteran, having served in the US Army.  He was an avid gardener and sold gladiolus at the US Army.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivor include two daughters, Mrs. James (Eva) Maloney of Erie and Nina Sue SanFelice of Meadville and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Shearer and Esther Neil.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
