Viola K. Free

Viola K. Free, 86, of Meadville, widow of Artley Free, died at Spencer Hospital Saturday, April 30, 1983, after an extended illness.

She was born in Wayne Township, Crawford County, October 28, 1896, a daughter of Abe and Nancy Cotterman Williams.  Her husband died in 1981.

She was employed for many years in the production department at Talon Plant 5.  She also was a member of Cochranton United Methodist Church and Dames of Malta.

Survivors include a son, Gerald D. of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Reno of Erie and Mrs. May Kiter of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
