Violet Louise Bissell

Miss Violet Louise Bissell, 20, of Guys Mills, died suddenly Saturday, January, 31, 1970, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Bissell.  Death was attributed to natural causes by Dr. Wilbur C. Thomas, coroner.

She was born at Bedford, OH, January 21, 1950, a daughter of Donald L. and Jean Wallis Bissell.

Miss Bissell was a senior at Randolph East-Mead High School, and was a member of the staff of the school newspaper, the Echo, and of the business club at the school.  She was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Donna Jean) Harnett of Atlantic; her paternal grandparents, Frank and Saphrona Maurice of Northfield, OH; one nephew and several aunts and uncles.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
