Virginia A. Whitehead

Virginia A. Whitehead, 74, of Conneaut Lake, died Saturday, May 7, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center following a sudden illness.

She was born in Meadville, August 1, 1913, a daughter of Walter and Ada B. Mahle Armour.  She married Edson S. Whitehead November 28, 1935.  He survives.

She worked in the accounting department at Talon for several years prior to her marriage.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.  She was a member of the Mead Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sons, Gary A. Whitehead of Blooming Valley and Dale W. Whitehead and John R. Whitehead, both of Conneaut Lake; a sister, Marian A. Phelps of Conneaut Lake and a grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
