Virginia F. Senn

Virginia F. Senn, 87, of 30189 Guys Mills Road, Guys Mills, died Thursday Nov. 7, 2002, at Meadville Medical Center.   She had been residing at Faith Builders Personal Care Home, Guys Mills, since June 2002.

She was born Oct. 29, 1915, in Laurens, SC, a daughter of Claude P. & Elizabeth H. Watkins Finley.  She married Karl W. Senn, Sr. July 31, 1937, and he preceded her in death May 30, 1968.

She was a graduate of Laurens High School, Laurens, SC, and was a homemaker.  She had worked at one time in the Coffee and Gift Shop at Meadville City Hospital.  She was a member of the Meadville Medical Center Auxiliary, and the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills, where she enjoyed quilting with the women’s quilting group of the church.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Karol Boyd & her husband Dale of Sanford, NC, and Susan Hinojosa and her Husband Luis of Austin, TX, 2 sons, Karl W. Senn, Jr., of Austin, TX, and E. Miles Senn, of Los Angeles, CA, 5 grandchildren, Kelly Starr, Michelle Mayhew, Kristen and Steven Hinojosa, and Sonya Senn, and 1 great grandson.

She was also preceded in death by 1 sister, Dorothy Finley.

Calling hours will be Sunday Nov. 10, 2002, from 2-4 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St.

The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Dave Brumagin, Chaplain, Meadville Medical Center, and Assistant Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, officiating.

Burial will be in Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Laurens, SC.
