Virginia L. Troutner, 82, of Meadville, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born September 13, 1932 in Lyona, a daughter of Cecil and Alma Waid Pratt.
Virginia attended school in New Richmond and Townville and graduated from Randolph High School. She worked in production at Talon for 23 years.
Virginia was of the Methodist faith, enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing in her younger years, and loved her faithful dog Barney. She was a very hardworking, caring, and loving mother who especially treasured her time spent with family.
Survivors include a son, Gary Troutner and his wife Susan of Cochranton; a daughter, Debra Gaglione and her husband Tom of Dillsburg; her long-time companion, Lonon Smith of Meadville; seven grandchildren, Jodi Troutner, Amy Maheshwari, Tony Gaglione, Tamara Gaglione, Mallory Markham, Kyle Troutner, and Austin Troutner; seven great-grandchildren, Madelyn Troutner, Ashlee Foulk, Tyler Foulk, Moksh Maheshwari, Charvi Maheshwari, Gianna Gaglione, and Landon Markham; two brothers, Stanley Eugene Pratt and his wife Barbara of Meadville and Gordon Pratt and his wife Jill of Guys Mills; a sister-in-law, Elaine Pratt of Blooming Valley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Wetsel and a brother, William Pratt.
Services are private.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
