Virginia L. West

Virginia L. West, 77, of Saegertown, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Friday, March 5, 2021 at her residence.

She was born October 21, 1943 in Royal Oak, MI, a daughter of John and Adaline Corey Gallagher.  She married Charles E. West, Jr. August 20, 1971 and he preceded her in death January 12, 2015.

Virginia was a 1962 graduate of Clawson High School, Clawson, MI.  She worked at National Teltronics and Saegertown Manufacturing Corporation.

A member of the First Church of God, Cambridge Springs, Virginia was a loving and caring woman who also enjoyed doing picture puzzles, camp, traveling and her beloved cats.

Survivors include a son, Charles West (Tammy Martone) of Meadville and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Gallagher.

Calling hours will be Friday, March 12th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Interment will be in Spring Cemetery.
