Virginia M. Stewart

Mrs. Virginia M. Stewart, 68, wife of Malcolm E. Stewart of Meadville, died after an extended illness Wednesday, May 23, 1979, at Eye and Ear Hospital, Pittsburgh, where she had been a patient for 10 days.

She was born near Rouseville, Venango County, October 9, 1910, daughter of McClelland and Ella M. Rogers.  She married Stewart March 17, 1957.  She was employed at Talon Division of Textron, then for a number of years as a cafeteria supervisor at Allegheny College.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Golden Crown Chapter of Order of Eastern Star and Trinity Shrine, White Shrine of Jerusalem.

Survivors, in addition to her husband include two daughters, Mrs. John (Billie) Russell of Oil City and Mrs. Robert (Marie) Crawford of Miami, FL; a son, Charles Waitz of Hatsboro; a sister, Mrs. Vera Daniels of Titusville; a brother, Edward of Cooperstown and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Rynd Farm Cemetery, Corn Planter Township, Venango County, PA.
