Virginia M. Wentz

Virginia M. Wentz, 81, of Guys Mills, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born March 18, 1940 in Meadville, a daughter of James R. and Josephine Ladds Worley.  She married Dennis D. Wentz September 29, 1962 and he survives.

Virginia was a 1958 graduate of Townville High School.  She worked at Allegheny College as an office manager of the maintenance department as well as in shipping and receiving in the library.

Virginia was a member of Lyona Bible Church.  She enjoyed photography, leatherwork, jewelry making, and was a published author on the Lyona community history.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Dennis, include a daughter, Amanda Prusia (Dale) of Guys Mills; and a granddaughter, Abbey Prusia of Parma, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James D. Worley.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 1st from 4-7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Lyona Bible Church, 28825 Lyona Rd., Guys Mills with the Rev. Michael Fraser, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Lyona Cemetery.
