Virginia Mae Kincaid

November 24, 1925 — January 22, 2012

Virginia Mae Kincaid, 86, formerly of Monnie Ave., Conneaut Lake and a current resident of Rolling Fields, Conneautville, died there Sunday, January 22, 2012 following a period of declining health.

She was born November 24, 1925 in Kearsarge, a daughter of Otto and Ruth Muckinhaupt Etheridge.  She had been married to Floyd Hinderliter and subsequently married Walter (Jeff) Jeffery in 1962 and he preceded her in death in 1985.

Virginia enjoyed gardening, knitting, watching game shows and especially spending time with her family.  She was a member of the Linesville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Auxiliary.

While a resident of Rolling Fields, she attended church services when able, enjoyed reading her bible and keeping the girls on Birch Street on their toes.  The love and kindness Gin Gin received while at Rolling Fields was very appreciated by her family and will never be forgotten.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Hinderliter Mallon and her husband Mark of Gibsonia and Robin Jeffery Thurber and her husband Tom of Conneaut Lake; a son, William Hinderliter and his companion Joy Bogardus of Meadville; seven grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Mallon, Grant, Jillian and Logan Hinderliter, and Travis and Tyson Thurber; two sisters, Lillian Mook of New York and Patricia Henry of Billings, MT; a brother, Tom Aylsworth and his wife Ann of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Mallon; a granddaughter, Ruth Ann Hinderliter; three brothers, Roland Aylsworth, Raymond Etheridge and Otto Etheridge, Jr.; and three sisters, Jean McClellan, Joyce Mook and Marilyn Etheridge.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake where a memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dave Brumagin, Associate Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., 1501 N.W. 9th Ave./Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL 33136-1494 or Rolling Fields, 9108 State Hwy 198, Conneautville, PA 16406.
