W. Merwyn Hanks

W. Merwyn Hanks, 42, died suddenly September 3, 1946, at his home in Guys Mills.

Mr. Hanks, along with is brother, Harold Hanks, who died two months ago, operated the Hanks Pony Farm, where more than 20 ponies are being raised at present.

Mr. Hanks was graduated from Randolph Township High School in the early 1920s.  He remained partially paralysis when he was 21.

Surviving are two brothers, Larue of Meadville and Edgar of Richmond Township.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery.
