Wallace William Theuret, 81, a life-long Meadville resident, died Saturday, November 22, 1958, at Franklin Hospital where he had been a patient 10 days.
Theuret suffered a stroke while visiting a daughter in Franklin.
Theuret, who lived in Meadville, was born May 18, 1877, in Meadville. He was a son of Charles and Frances Curty Theuret.
He married the former Ella Lewis August 13, 1896. She died in 1935.
He operated an upholstery shop on Market Square for many years until the Lafayette Hotel fire in 1955 destroyed the building. He then moved his shop to Kerrtown where he operated his business in conjunction with a hardware store. He retired last year.
Surviving are a daughter, Gladys Fischer of Franklin; a granddaughter, Mrs. Rosalyn Davis of Corning, NY; a sister, Miss Rose Theuret of Meadville; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
