Walter E. Kent

Walter E. Kent, 72, of Guys Mills, died suddenly at Spencer Hospital Monday, September 20, 1982, after an illness of several months.

He was born in Greene Township, Erie County, July 26, 1910, a son of Melvin S. and Charlotte M. Smith Kent.  He married A. Flossie Skiff, July 26, 1934.

Mr. Kent was a self-employed water well driller for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gordon M. Kent, Sr. of Guys Mills; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Nora) Root of Erie; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery.
