Walter F. Waid

Walter F. Waid, 73, of Atlantic, died Sunday, September 23, 1984, at City Hospital after an illness of several months.

He was born in North Shenango Township, June 6, 1911, a son of Walter W. and Suszie Throop Waid.

He was a retired 20-year employee of Westford Aluminum and Bronze Foundry.  He was a veteran of WWII and was active in citizens band radio.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan I. Waid of Westford; two sons, Morris W. Waid of Meadville and Raymond F. Waid of Meadville; and five grandchildren.

A son, Jerrod, preceded him in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
