Walter H. Pierce

Walter H. Pierce, 62, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital, Thursday, April 20, 1967, following an illness of four months.

He was born in Meadville on February 24, 1905, a son of John and Harriett Holmes Pierce.  He married the former Mildred Lawyer on December 21, 1935.

Mr. Pierce was employed by the State Highways Department.  He was a member of Park Congregational Church.

Survivors, in addition to his widow, include a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Joan) Smallenberger; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. John Pierce of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
