Walter J. Wayne, Jr.

Walter J. Wayne, Jr., 77, of Conneaut Lake, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness.

He was born October 1, 1941 in Pittsburgh, a son of Walter and Gladys Wineland Wayne, Sr.  He married Terrie Paske February 19, 2005.

Walt was a graduate of Allegheny College where he received bachelor degrees in Psychology and Accounting.  He worked as the manager at Kmart and Holiday Inn Express and subsequently as an accountant at UCIP.

Walt attended the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake.  He enjoyed reading and golfing and proudly supported many animal rights organizations.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Terrie, include a son, Jeremy Wayne; a step-daughter, Amanda Keil (Jason) of Erie; two life sharing sons, Rick and David Rodgers of Conneaut Lake; two step-granddaughters, Faith and Samantha Keil; a brother, Mark Wozniak; and special friends, Jim and Millie Kelly of Jamestown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Terrie’s Aunt, Gerrie (Gaga) Smith with whom Walt was especially close.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 25th from 5-7 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE.

The funeral service will be Friday, October 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Sam Heagy, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake, officiating.

Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.
