Wayne M. Brewer

Wayne M. Brewer, 38, of Meadville, a geology professor at Allegheny College, died Sunday, January 27, 1991, at his residence following an illness of several months.

He was born at St. Louis, MO, September 2, 1952, a son of Robert William and Barbara A. Grotjahn Brewer.  He married Deborah Black August 19, 1979.  She survives.

He graduated from the University of Washington and earned his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin.  He had been a member of the geology department at Allegheny College since 1979.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Joshua Black Brewer and Owen Black Brewer; his parents of Seattle, WA; four sisters, Carol Brewer, Deborah Brewer, Jeanette Brewer and Maureen Brewer; two brothers, Gary and Greg Brewer.

Services were held at Ford Chapel.
