Wendell E. Nageotte

Wendell E. Nageotte, 75, of Blooming Valley, died Thursday, April 30, 1987, at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, following a three-month illness.

He was born in Guys Mills, May 23, 1911, a son of Bert and Edna Mae Conrad Nageotte.  He married Mildred Williams April 8, 1939.  She survives.

Mr. Nageotte had retired in 1977 from his work at Allegheny College.  He had previously worked at Westinghouse of Meadville.  He was a member of West Mead Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Mrs. George (Audrey) Vukovich of Blooming Valley and Lois Nageotte of Meadville; two sons, Richard Nageotte of Painesville, OH and Frederick Nageotte of Conneaut Lake; a brother, Clifford Nageotte of Meadville; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. ;

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
