Wilbur A. Beatty

November 23, 1882 — March 3, 1949

Wilbur A. Beatty, 66, of Blooming Valley, died at City Hospital, March 3, 1949.  He had been ill almost a year.

Mr. Beatty, a carpenter by trade had spent his entire life in the Blooming Valley community, and was a member of the Blooming Valley Grange.  In recent years, he had operated a service station, and at one time served with the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for a four-year period.

He is survived by three sons, Marshall of Blooming Valley, Oscar of Meadville and Robert of Warren, PA, and by five granddaughters.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
