Wilford C. Terrill

Wilford C. Terrill, 82, of Meadville, died Friday, May 9, 1997 at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.

He was born September 12, 1914 in Meadville, a son of the late Willis M. and Emma Collans Terrill.  He married Hester Barr, April 14, 1938.  She preceded him in death April 29, 1997.

Mr. Terrill worked at Talon Plant #5, retiring as an inspector after many years of service.  In addition, he also worked at the former Winter Gardens Skating Rink in Meadville.  He was a US Army veteran of WWII, having served in the European Theater of Operations.  He loved animals and enjoyed fishing.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Theodore Terrill and one sister, Gerthia Crooks.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
