Wilford E. Lazeski

Wilford E. Lazeski, 71, of Centerville, died at home Monday, July 29, 2013.

He was born in Bath, NY July 30, 1941 a son of Edward T. and Elsie M. Conaway Lazeski.  He married Melody Sutliff July 23, 1983 and she survives.

He attended Cambridge Springs public schools and worked for General Electric in Erie for 31 years retiring in 2001 as a locomotive repairman.  In his retirement, he worked security at Conneaut Lake Park and most recently at Keystone Blind Association.  He enjoyed bowling, fishing and in his younger years, hunting.

Survivors, in addition to his wife Melody of Saegertown, include: two daughters, Tiffany Lazeski of Saegertown and Louise Lilley of Meadville; four children from a previous marriage, Susan, Peggy, Edward and Daniel; a sister, Joyce; a brother, Frank Lazeski of Texas; several nieces, a great niece and three great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Lazeski and a sister, Mary Ann Lazeski.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Brumagin, officiating.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
