William B. Ray

William Byron Ray, 89, a resident at the Methodist Home for the Aged for the past nine years, died there Sunday, February 11, 1962.

He was born May 17, 1872, at West Spring Creek, Warren County, a son of William C. and Mary Morrison Ray.  He married Elgie Pollock on June 11, 1951.  She survives and lives at the Methodist Home.  He was a retired farmer.

Besides his widow, survivors are three children, Mrs. Ralph E. Curtis and Frank Ray, both of Springboro and H. B. Ray of New Castle; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Spring Cemetery.
