William B. “Bill” Wagler III, 79, of Fairview Twp, Fredonia, passed away on December 18, 2021 at AHN Grove City. Bill was born in Pittsburgh on April 30, 1942 to the late William B. Wagler Jr and Helen V. (Nanstiel) Wagler. He worked as a carpenter and cabinet maker for his entire career and was known for the beautiful cabinets he created.
Bill was a Christian by faith and attended many different churches with his mother. He enjoyed gardening and tending to his flowers. He enjoyed being outdoors and watching birds. He always enjoyed tinkering in his woodshop finding something new to create. He loved fishing any chance he got and enjoyed fishing on Stoneboro Lake, Lake Wilhelm, and taking fishing trips to Canada. Most of all he loved and adored his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bill married his beloved wife, H. Emma Sorg Wagler on Aug 25, 1960 in the Jerusalem Christian Church, Greenville, she survives at home. Also left to cherish his memory are his children; Billy (Tammy) Wagler of Clarks Mills, Cheri (Rick) Latchaw of Greenville, and Ron (Teri) Wagler of Stoneboro, grandchildren; Tori Welton (Fiancé Dalton) of Stoneboro, Kasi (Austin) Shawgo of Sandy Lake, and Ariane (Jake) Heim of Fredonia, and great-grandchildren; Ryan and Sawyer.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Wagler.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
A memorial service for Bill will be announced at a later date.
