William W. (Bill) Bish

William W. (Bill) Bish, 69, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at UPMC Hamot following complications from a stroke.

He was born April 20, 1953 in New Bethlehem, a son of Albert Ray and Kathrine Bish.  He married Sarah Patterson and she preceded him in death August 18, 1984.

Bill worked as a truck driver for Kebert Construction and W.L. Dunn Construction Companies.  He also was a farmer.  He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

Survivors include four children, William Bish, Sherry Luzier (Chris), Sondra Bish (fiancé George Galmish), and Tandra Bish (Kayla), all of Meadville; a stepson, Keith Wood (Ashley) of Conneaut Lake; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Reynolds of Cochranton; a brother, Bob Bish of Townville; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a son, Gene Bish; and two grandsons, Zachary E. Yount and Nathan Luzier.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at a later date.
