William C. Huber

December 13, 1939 — June 26, 1984

William C. Huber, 44, of Meadville, died Tuesday, June 26, 1984, at Spencer Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born at Meadville, December 13, 1939, a son of Orville and Louise Weyman Huber, Sr.  He married Patricia MacClain May 28, 1983.

He had been employed 20 years with Sears Roebuck and Co., first as a service representative, then as a store manager at Wildwood, NJ, and most recently as sales representative at the Meadville Sears store.  A graduate of Meadville Area High School, he had served in the US Army.  He was a member of the Littles Corners United Methodist Church and Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife; his parents of Meadville; a daughter, Cynthia Huber of Cape May Courthouse, NJ; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mary Frances Poxon of Wildwood; a stepson, Edward Engelking, stationed with the US Army in Hawaii; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Jessie) Durasa of Conneautville; two brothers, Orville J. Huber and Paul Huber, both of Meadville; a stepdaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
