William D. Stainbrook

October 18, 1879 — January 1, 1753

William David Stainbrook, of Meadville, passed away Thursday morning at Spencer Hospital following an illness of one week's duration.  For over 38 years he had been employed by the Erie Railroad Co., the past 32 of which he had been mail and baggage handler at the local depot.  He was a member of the Station Forces Union and of the Erie Railroad Veterans Assn.  He was also a member of First M. E. Church.

Surviving are the widow and one son, Richard, at home; his mother, Mrs. Harriet Stainbrook of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Howe of Warren, OH and Mrs. William Ott of Sharon and three brothers, Albert and George of Meadville and Walter of Franklin.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
