William David Hyder, 62, of Conneaut Lake, died peacefully Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital.
He was born February 24, 1956 in Cleveland, a son of William D. and Dorothy Mae Estes Hyder. He married Patricia Owen September 2, 2017 and she survives.
David worked at Viking Tool & Gage, Conneaut Lake. In his spare time, David still enjoyed working. He never stopped and loved being outside mowing. He didn’t care if it was his yard or somebody else’s yard. He could build you a house or make you a cake. His dog Mac was his best pal and they walked miles almost daily. He loved his camp at Farma, Greenville, PA. Once he was convinced to get in a plane, he enjoyed taking cruises with family and friends. He loved comedy, country music, the Cleveland Indians, peanut butter, and the spicier the food the better.
Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Patricia, include nine children and step-children; his mother, Dorothy Hyder of Willoughby, OH; sixteen grandchildren; one brother; six sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and his loving dog Mac.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, July 3rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE where a Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
