William E. Barrell

William E. Barrall, 80, formerly of Gravel Run Road, Cambridge Springs and a resident of Crawford County Care Center since May 1998, died there Thursday, October 25, 2001.

He was born September 29, 1921 in Nazareth, a son of the late George and Mary Fleischman Barrall.  He married Kathleen R. McGranahan March 27, 1951 and she preceded him in death February 7, 1998.

He worked as an attendant for United Refineries of Warren at the Qwik Fill gas station on North Street, Meadville.  He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army.

Survivors include 3 sons, DuWayne Barrall and his wife Deb of Stoneboro; Donald Barrall and his wife Janice of Conneaut Lake; and Lee Barrall of Greenville; 2 daughters, Debra Graham and her husband Raymond of Saegertown and Darlene Bradshaw and her husband Stephen of Meadville; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Julia Hughes and Claire Eckert, both of Landsdale; and 1 brother, George Barrall, Jr. and his wife Rose of Bethlehem.

A private family graveside service will be Friday in Blooming Valley Cemetery with the Rev. Don Gordon, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
