William E. “Swing” Swingle, 69, of Jefferson Township, Mercer, passed away on November 22, 2021 at his residence. Bill was born in Greenville, PA on August 30, 1952 to the late Charles E. and Ethel M. (Rushton) Swingle. He attended Mercer schools. He went on to be a truck driver for his entire working career. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. Bill was of the Methodist Faith and attended Big Bend Church in Mercer. On June 28, 1986 he married his beloved wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Lou Kish, she survives at home. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his step-son, James G. Higbee, of Sharpsville; sisters, Barbara Busch Brant and husband, Carl, of Sharpsville, and Joanne Moon and husband Richard of Randelman, NC; brother-in-law Frank Kish and wife Dawn; sisters-in-law Karen Slater and Lydia Teets and husband Todd; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Chuck Kish. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.
