William F. Koscelek, 72, of Conneaut Lake, died Monday, April 3, 2000 at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.
He was born in Denora, PA, January 23, 1928, a son of the late Steve and Mary Kathovcik Koscelek. He married Ann Banks April 16, 1955. She survives.
He worked for Molded Fiber Glass of Linesville, as Assistant Security Chief of Conneaut Lake Park and had worked for US Steel in Denora, PA. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He also made Rosarys for several years that were distributed by the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Mary Ann Peelman (Tom) of Virginia Beach, VA and Celine Cooper of Conneaut Lake; a sister, Irene PAndrock (George) of Denora, PA; a brother, Steve Koscelek of CT; four grandchildren, Bryan Peelman, Michelle Bly, Michael Cooper and Sean Cooper; a great-granddaughter, Juleia Bly and four step-brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by several family members.
Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Americas Cemetery.
