William H. Haury

William H. Haury, of Meadville, died Thursday April 17, 1980, at City Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born in Meadville, son of John and Sophia Kahler Haury.

He was retired from US Steel, Youngstown, where he worked in the shipping department for many years.  He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and a graduate of Meadville Commercial College.  He was a member of St. Alban's Masonic Lodge 677; Ashlar Chapter No. 213, Royal Arch Masons; Beuchnor Council No. 107, Royal and Select Masters; St. John's Commandery No. 20 Knights Templar, and Aut Mori Grotto, all of Youngstown; Scottish Rite Bodies of Cleveland and Al Koran Shrine Temple.

Survivors include several cousins.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Miss Anna Haury and Mrs. Catherine Mitchell.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
