William H. 'Pete' Thomas, Sr.

William H. “Pete” Thomas, Sr., 80, of Atlantic, PA died unexpectedly Monday, March 2, 2020.  He was born in Atlantic, PA April 28, 1939 a son of James Lynn and Mabelle (Williams) Thomas.  He married Janet L. Corkum April 30, 1960 and she preceded him in death June 28, 2014.

He had a 36 year career with Lockheed retiring as a manufacturing manager in 1998.  He was an avid bowler, enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, William H. Thomas, Jr. and his wife Sonam of Conneaut Lake and Barry Thomas of Simi Valley, CA; four grandchildren, Robert, Carson, William III and Scott; two sisters, Harriet Scofield of Sheakleyville and Roma McConnell of Greenville and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters, Marie Shepard, Laura Bailey, Waeta Campbell, Twila Doza and Ruth Lohr and seven brothers, Mason, Harvey, James Lynn Jr., Duane, Raymond, Robert and Oakley Thomas.

A Graveside service will be Monday, March 9th at 1:00 p.m. at Adsit Cemetery, Conneaut Lake with Rev. Jeff Bobin, Pastor of Littles Corners United Methodist Church, officiating.
