William Karl Dickson

February 27, 1919 — January 29, 1965

William Karl (Mick) Dickson, 45, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Thursday, January 29, 1965, after a long illness. Mr. Dickson was a foreman at American Viscose Division of FMC Corp. where he had been employed for 27 years. He was born at Oil City February 27, 1919, a son of Roy C. and Elma First Dickson, and married the former Elda M. White at Franklin, November 25, 1940. Mr. Dickson was a member of First Baptist Church; Crawford Masonic Lodge 234; Erie Scottish Rite Bodies, Zem Zem Shrine of Erie and the Acacia Pipe Band of Oil City. Surviving, besides his widow, are two daughters, Mrs. David (Mary Lou) Waid of Meadville and Miss Linda Lee Dickson at home; his parents of Cochranton; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Jean) Ruggles of Erie; three brothers, Grant and Donald of Cochranton and Kenneth of Hadley; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Greendale Cemetery. Services Past Services
