William P. Vivian

March 17, 1900 — January 1, 1753

William P. Vivian, 55, of Blooming Valley, died Saturday afternoon at City Hospital following a nine months illness.

Born at Monessen, Westmoreland County, a son of the late Benjamin and Pearl Vivian, he moved to Blooming Valley in 1914 where he established a horticulture business, including several greenhouses and a vineyard.  He was employed by several area firms and performed carpentry as a sideline.

Surviving are his widow, Elsie Smith Vivian; a son, Charles; two daughters, Helen Betty Ann, all at home; two brothers, Lois and Joseph, both of Blooming Valley; a sister, Mrs. Fred Brown of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
