William (Billy) Stanley Bossard, 12, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin C. Bossard, Neason Hill student, died late yesterday afternoon, July 26, 1937, as the result of injuries receieved in a 14-foot fall from a beam in the barn of relatives in Woodcock township. The accident occurred on the farm of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Bradshaw. The youngster was playing with two cousins, Clarence and Bruce Bradshaw, on the beams of the large barn and, losing his balance, fell 14 feet from the beam to a newly cemented floor. He was rushed to Spencer Hospital where injuries were determined as a fractured skull, broken bones and internal injuries. The boy attended Neason Hill grade school and would have entered the seventh grade this fall. Surviving besides the parents are two brothers, Richard and Paul; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Lemon. Services were held at the Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Harmonsburg Cemetery.
