William W. Ladds, 68, died Friday afternoon at his home in Blooming Valley.
Mr. Ladds spent his early life in Franklin and Grove City. He has lived in Crawford County for 17 years, the last fiver of which were in Blooming Valley.
He was a machinist at Talon, Inc. for 15 years, but retired three and one-half years ago because of ill health. He was a member of Blooming Valley Methodist Church and the Mens Class of the church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eva Moon Ladds; six children, Mrs. Forrest Guynn of Stoneboro, William T. Ladds of Saegertown, Mrs. Arthur Shields of New Waterford, OH, Mrs. James Worley of Guys Mills, Mrs. Eva Mackie of Blooming Valley and Mrs. Lloyd George Kirk of Meadville; eighteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Susie Smith of Townville and a brother, J. C. Ladds of Oil City.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery, Wayland.
