William W. Paden

William W. Paden, 75, of 852 Market Street, Meadville went to meet our heavenly father Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the Meadville Medical Center.

He was born in Venango Co. April 29, 1930 a son of Orie and Maude Wise Paden.  He married Virginia G. Hepler February 12, 1979 and she preceded him in death January 23, 1991.

He was a veteran and a prisoner of the Korean War.  He knew tough times but always brought a ray of sunshine into every life he touched.

Survivors, include two sisters, Helen Kightlinger of Eringten, AL and Betty Watkins and a life-long friend and cousin, Marie Wasson of Meadville.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Hepler; a brother, Charles Paden and a nephew, John Hepler.

Calling hours will be Friday from 7-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.  The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Philip Torre, Pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating.
