William "Willie" T. Strouss

William “Willie” T. Strouss Jr., 55 of Worth Township, Jackson Center, passed away at his home on January 12, 2020. Willie was born in Grove City on February 18, 1964 to the late William Sr. and Barbara A. (Weaver) Strouss. He was a 1983 graduate of Lakeview High School and worked at Hovis Auto & Truck Supply in Grove City. Willie was an avid outdoorsman and was constantly hunting, trapping, fishing, and hiking. In his earlier years he enjoyed going to the races with his family, bull riding, and was a member of a pool league. Willie is survived by his children; Tiffany Wolf and husband Robert of Hermitage, and Karen Strouss and wife Hanna of Stoneboro, companion Merry McGhee, grandchildren; Vincent, Zachery, and Makenna Wolf, step-grandchildren Melody Shaw, Hunter and Hoyt Wright, and Aryanna McGhee, siblings; Jeffrey Strouss and wife Julie and Amy Uber and companion Bill, all of Jackson Center, as well as many nieces and nephews. Willie was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Home of Sandy Lake, 3236 S. Main Street, where family and friends are welcome from 4-7 pm on Thursday, January 16. A funeral service will follow visitation at 7 pm with the Rev. Evelyn Beebe, officiating.
