William A. (Bill) Wykoff, 70, of Meadville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
He was born July 15, 1952 in Meadville, a son of the late Cecil E. (Bud) and Shirley Jean (Raybuck) Wykoff. He married Sharon Boughner December 30, 1978.
Bill was a 1970 graduate of Meadville High School. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life and previously worked as a mechanic at Weber-Harris Ford in Meadville. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, VFW Post 2006, Vernon Volunteers VFD, West Mead 2 VFD, and Saegertown American Legion Post 205 where he was a son of the American Legion.
Bill formerly rode motorcycles with the Legion Riders. He also owned a 1970 Chevy Nova SS which was his pride and joy. He enjoyed NASCAR and time spent at Canadohta Lake with his son and family.
Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Sharon, include a son, William (Bud) Wykoff (Catherine) of Herndon, VA and twin granddaughters, Sarah Jean & Kaitlin Ann Wykoff.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 20th from 12-2 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Brown officiating.
Interment will be in Cochranton Cemetery.
