Willis A. “Will” McFarland, 83, of Franklin, passed away on April 4, 2025. Willis joined the Navy following his time in high school before he worked as a welder at Polk Center.

Will lived everyday to the fullest, not missing one opportunity to get out and have fun. He was an avid outdoorsmen and loved spending time with his friends and family. Will was always in for drinks and hanging out or just sitting back and shooting the bull. Will loved his grandson Michael above all else.

Will is survived by his sons, Kelly (Clarissa) McFarland and Bryan (Eva) McFarland of Deep River, CT. His is also survived by his grandson, Michael McFarland. Many friends from over the years will cherish Will’s memory as well.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153. There will be no celebration of life because Will was able to celebrate his life with his friends and family in his last weeks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Will’s name to the Bethesda Lutheran Services in Meadville to help disadvantaged youth.
