Winifred Minneley

Miss Winifred Minneley, 95, of Meadville, died Friday, September 9, 1977, after a long illness at the United Methodist Nursing Hospital where she had been a patient for two years.

She was born in Wellsboro, NY, June 1, 1882, a daughter of Edward and Wilhelmina Walp Minneley.  She lived in Meadville since 1900 when she moved here from Fond-du-lac, WI, where she attended Grafton Hall Episcopal School for Girls.  She retired in 1946 after operating Miss Minneley was a member of Christ Church, Episcopal, and the Meadville Woman's Club and a charter member of the Meadville Business and Professional Women's Club.

Survivors include two nephews, Bruce D. Martin of Conneaut Lake and Donald S. Martin of Saegertown and several grandnieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
