Winona May Morris

Mrs. Winona May Morris, 94, of Meadville, died Sunday, October 4, 1970.

She was born in Elizabeth, WV, February 11, 1876, a daughter of Robert H. and Penelopa Adcock Barnes.  She married Charles J. Morris September 5, 1894.  He died in 1953.

Mrs. Morris and her husband moved to Crawford County in 1916 when her husband established a blacksmith business in Blooming Valley and also operated a farm.

She was a member of North Richmond United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Sheldon (Ethel) Braymer at home; two sons, Harley J. Morris of Meadville and Paul E. Morris of Clarendon; one brother, Harry Barnes of TX; nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in New Richmond Cemetery.
