Zachary David Carlson, 15, of Geneva sadly passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 3, 2020.
He was born June 10, 2005 in Beaufort, SC a son of Anna Myers Vorisek and David W. Carlson. He was a kind and caring boy. He was always full of energy and jokes. As a junior in high school and a part-time college student, he was a really smart kid and always wanted to help people. He was loved by his family very much. His favorite thing to do was play games, such as Minecraft and League of Legends. He also enjoyed swimming, baseball and working out. He would often ride his bike 20 miles to the gym to work out and then ride the 20 miles back home. He also posted videos to his own YouTube Channel. He played percussion and the drums in the CASH Marching Band and was a clown with the Erie Clowns. He was an avid reader but also enjoyed watching TV and Netflix. He was a member and alter server at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church in Conneaut Lake.
Living on without him are his parents, Anna and Geoffrey Vorisek of Geneva and David W. Carlson of Jacksonville, NC; his siblings, Rebecca, Matthew, Emily, Ashley, Sarah and Luke; his maternal grandparents, Robin Hetrick of Saegertown and Ken Myers of Conneaut Lake; his paternal grandparents, Faye Carlson of Justin, TX and Wayne Carlson of Zion, IL and Catherine and Charles Vorisek of Linesville; his God parents, Claudia and Tom Predis of Conneautville; aunts and uncles, including Sheila Myers of Austin, TX and Robert Stivanson of Pittsburgh and cousins.
Private family Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 6th at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth Street, Conneaut Lake with Fr. David Carter, Celebrant.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6th from 3-5 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.
